Nice to hear some positive feedback on this housing setup. I'm 99% sure I'll be purchasing this one next month.

If anyone else has one, feel free to speak up. I'd like to get all the feedback, good or bad.

Cool. I'll be posting up some pics as the build-up continues. Just ordered up my billet yoke that I forgot to order with the rest of my center section parts.

The Strange center case is at the powdercoater now, then when the QP housing gets here, it's going to the powdercoater too. Getting the QP housing done in Silvervein to match the BMR Kmember:

Default you want pix here ya go.

First off I want to say this rear end fit great, I had clearance in the tunnel with the stock torque arm, I swapped to an adjustable one this week and the fit was not great, that could be from a couple of reasons though. the adjustable torque arm sat a little further on the mounting bracket, and I removed my crossmember and fabricated a T/A mount so that it would not be on the trans any more. So when I installed the T/A it sat super close to the tunnel, I removed it and gave the tunnel a little adjustment with my deadblow hammer, gave me tons of room as seen in the pix. None of this is noticable in the car NONE of it.

Oh yeah, if any one is interested, here are a few pics of the tranny mount I modified, I used my stock one, because I am too cheap to buy the one from UMI for 300 bucks. I laid out the location of the mount and fabricated a stand with two support gussets all out of 1/4 inch steel. It workes out fine for me, I spaced it a 1/4 inch a way from the trans itself so that may have been why the T/A was on the tunnel, not sure but it was easy enough to fix.

They do offer a back brace. I believe it was another 169.00/installed if memory serves. Also, this housing comes with a fill plug up top, and a drain plug on the bottom.

If it had any fittment problems they wouldnt sell it...... they are a very high quality fab shop . check out the web site www.quickperformance.com .

I think the biggest issue is getting the reluctor ring attached behind the ring gear somehow. With the 9", there's not much room unless you had some custom gears, or custom carrier made. Then you would need to attache the sensor to the housing somehow also.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It's been awhile since I've cracked one of these ABS rears apart.

Well 4 channel has reluctors out on the axles. Basicly all you need to is to order axles with provisions to press the reluctors on. that is about a $100 option from most companies.

Can anyone verify this? I want to go with this piece but need to know I can get my 4-channel setup on there without issue.

Other question is anyone having clearance issues with that mount located at the top?

You should call them and ask if they offer the 4 channel option. Maybe ask them if they offer a 3 channel as well just to let everyone know.

They don't offer the 4 channel as I called today. They don't mod the axles so if the housing doesn't need modified for 4 channel all you need is modified axles. Other question is does it come with all the clips and brackets to be a direct swap. From what I am told Midwest is the only one with all the pieces to drop it right in.
