Default 9", bmr full length TA, and yank th400 crossmember w/ ta mount..?

So I have a moser 9" and a BMR full length TA. I'm trying to mount it to a yank turbo 400 crossmember with TA mount.

No matter how hard I try, the stupid TA will not mount in two parallel set of holes.

It seems to fit, however using adjasent holes. What I don't know is if this is correct, or if i need a new TA or need to grind it to fit.

It looks like it actually fits the way it's sitting there right now, but I've never seen that before... I wish I had a picture to show you guys. Do you understand what i'm saying? Instead of mounting in the two lined up holes, it mounts on diaganal holes.

Anyone have any experience with this? As I'm kinda confused. I have nothing to reference to because the rear, trans and crossmember are all new. lol

all else fails I can try to call moser and yank I guess.

So I ended up grinding the BMR torque arm to get it to fit *properly* on the rear end.

But now the TA is SUPER close to the body panel, is this normal? Like when I jack the car up from the rear to load the suspension, in some places there's like maybe 1/8 of an inch clearence! That gonna hit the floorboard when I hit bumps? Car has stock springs with the isolaters taken out. hose mod. I looked in your pics on your webpage of the 9 inch and you guys are using the other set of holes, the inside ones, but I cant use those ones with this TA because it physically hits the back of the bracket before the holes line up.

also dont remember my shocks being cocked at an angle like that, is that right?
whatcha think, Bob?

How long have you had the TA? I think there was a change made to the radius on the mounting bracket a LONG time ago.

No, it's not correct to use adjacent holes! I have the same setup, only with the BMR crossmember. It's a little tricky, but everything should line up.

I think my bracket is only for a 12 bolt. apparently bmr makes a 9" compatable one aswell.

It should be the same bracket for both. Bob

The backets are only different depending on the transmission

Why would the transmission make a difference for the bracket on the rear end?

I thought you meant the crossmember bracket that you're having trouble lining up. If you're talking about the bracket on your rearend that your torque arm bolts up to, it looks like you have the right one.

I dunno. I had to grind it to get it to fit and there's barely any clearence on a stock height car.

I think I might need a new torque arm.

the trans bracket is right, its a yank th400 crossmember with ta mount.
