Default 9" Moser Axles, Spacer Goes Where?

I ordered up the Quick Performance 9" housing and ordered it with the Moser axles. I just received the axles but I'm still waiting for the housing. The axles included two spacers that are each about 5/16" thick. The inside diameter of the spacer is the same size as the OD of the axle where the bearing gets pressed onto. My question is: does this spacer go on the inside, or the outside of the bearing (before the bearing, or after)? This is for a 3 channel ABS system for a LT1 car using the stock LT1 brakes. My first guess would be that the bearing gets pressed on first, then the bearing, but I've read some conflicting info on this theory.

So, in order from the wheel working inward, which would it be:

wheel-flange-brakeplate-spacer-bearing
or
wheel-flange-brakeplate-bearing-spacer

The axles didn't come with any diagram or explanation, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

I assume you are calling the spacer the retaining plate that holds the axle in and not the press ring for the axle shaft? If so then "wheel-flange-brakeplate-spacer-bearing " is correct.

I'll post up a pic of the spacers tonight. They came with the axles/bearing/studs in the Moser box.

I didn't get any "spacers" with my Moser axles.

Here is the pic of the spacer and bearing that was included in the Moser package. Any ideas here?

Backing plate -> bearing -> press ring (aka your "spacer")

EDIT: HAH, nevermind, I completely ignored where you said LT1.

So spacer first.... but..where is the press ring? Or is that different also.

For LS1

For LT1, Spacer first.

So as of now, I'm thinking the item I'm calling a spacer, is actually the press ring. I'm gonna be making some calls today to find out for sure. A very simple diagram from Moser would have saved me some headache.

Yep, problem solved. Just got off the phone with QP and it's a press ring that gets pressed on AFTER the bearing. No spacers required for the QP LT1 style rearend housings.
