if your abs sensor is ounted in the center of your stock rearend the 9" can't handle it due to the internal construction. If your abs is mounted at the axle, you could use a 9"

I have a friend that was trying to find the breaking point of his Stange cast iron 9". Got all the way down to 1.3 60', and it still held together with no problems. So, that convinced me that ABS and ASR (complete crap wish I never wasted any money on it) is not worth keeping if the rear will keep on breaking. 9" is the only way to go for reliable hard driving

I'm about to install my Moser 9". I got it with the aluminum center section, detroit locker, and 35 spline star-flanged drilled axles. I chose the 9" so that once it was in the car, hopefully I'll never have to worry about it again.

Thanks for your help tonight, in the "Brakes" section as well...
Check and see if you have sensors on each rear wheel, or if there is just one wire going into the center section as in a 3 channel system.

Ok from what ive the strange whines the most then the moser and then the ford 8.8

Well to be quite honest most people i spoke to said that lots of people are running consistant 8s in the 1/4 mile and still no problems. Also I heard the ford 8.8 should not whine at all. Worse case scenerio would be it will only whine as loud as a mustang or an f150 which is nothing?

what do you guys think?
