LMAO!!!

On the same subject (I dont mean to jack the thread) Im building my Z28 up. Im planning on being around 400-500 hp. I did the brakes first, now Im on suspension/chassis, from hear Im heading to the engine, then tranny/stall.

Im at a crossroads, I dont know if I should spend the 3300 on a 9" now, or if I'll really even need one in a A4 with 400 hp, and 3.42 gears? I could do alot more with the money, and you really dont find "good" deals on 9"/12 bolt rear ends. any opinions?

Your 10 bolt will likely hang in there longer with the automatic, I just wouldn't dump any money into trying to build it up. Bob

if you put a built 8.5inch 10 bolt you will be good. I have seen a few hold 800rwhp track and dd cars. But has to be 8.5inch

Another vote for a ford 9 inch. Mine makes no noise.

Sure it sucks up some power...but when your making 800hp does it really matter?
