vibration, where to next

have a vibration that comes in and out with vehicle speed (not rpm). comes in at about 60 gets worse at 65 and levels out at 70. only to come back again at 75-80. i just replaced the u-joints but the vibration got slightly worse. the only mod to the drive train is moser axle shafts (bad wheel bearing when i bought the car). any suggestions for where to look next?

p.s. had to use quite a bit of pressure to press out stock u-joints, any possiblity that i hurt the drive shaft doing this?

we had the same prob on our lt1 car and it turned out to be an unbalanced driveshaft

no, i have not. the car has about 70 grand on the ticker and the tranny operates fine. are u suggesting tail shaft issues??

check your pinion angle.

then check the bushing. Had mine go out twice on my silvy. Pinion angle ate the second one.

If you messed with the drive shaft, whether you were meaning to fix or hurt it, and it got worse.. I would point my finger at the drive shaft. If you didn't touch anything else, that is al it could be really.. Or at least something directly related.
