ive also been reading spools dont go well with low profile tires. i have 18" rims w/ 295/35/18's now but may get 315/30 or 35/18's. is that too low a profile for a locker? also my car is lowered with a pro kit from eibach

Spools won't work well with stiff sidewall tires. They need a soft tire with some side wall or it will prob chirp and chatter in corners.

I love my Trac-Loc with clutches and billet cover. No issues and works great!

Eaton bought out Detroit and they had to have changed something as the True Trac in it's current form has broken for quite a few people. Three or four years ago you could use one for up to six hundred horsepower, and not have a problem with one. I presently wouldn't recommend a True Trac to anyone, even with a bone stock car. This is why I took them off my website as an option.

The Wavetrac is more money but looks very promising. Bob
