Default 4.30s or 4.56s

i will be ordering a mwc 9 inch here soon and am trying to decide what gears to get. car is m6, cam, and few bolt ons. i will be going with a 26 x 11.50 slick. i was originally planning on going with 4.30s, but now im thinking about 4.56s. i have 4.10s now on 275 x 40s. im thinkin since im steppin up in tire, 4.30s will be pretty equal to my 4.10s, am i wrong? right now, the car has room to add more gear, just wondering how much difference there is between the 4.30 and 4.56. i drive the car a lot, but driveability means absolutely nothing to me so that is not an issue at all haha. thanks in advance

I would go 4.30's. With a 26' tire, you will be shifting fast enough as it is.

Also if you decide to do some spray in the future

I runned 4:30" with my 6 speed ,make shore you have sticky tires, or you will go up in smoke, Now I have a 4L80 fmv and the gear is even better with nitrous.

I see you've got a big enough cam to make power up to 7K so you won't fall off on the top end. What do you trap? 7K with a 26" tall tire won't get you a lot of MPH with the 4.56 or the 4.30's. I think you'll at least need a 28" tall tire to run either of those gears especially if you spray it. Do the math. It's really easy to determine the best gear. One of those online calculators will figure it out for you if you don't want to do the math yourself. I'd just hate to see you have to turn the motor 8000 RPM to make it through the traps.
