Nice work....
Can you recap on the way the car launches with the mini bars? Mine seems to launch like an old mopar now the entire car lifts evenly but the rear feels like it is being pushed foward HARD!

lol, a friend of mine just compared it to a old mopar, the only "problem" is if for some reason i forget to power shift it unloads the tires

Mind elaborating?

I've never had an old mopar lol. Although I do have the G-force 4 link setup and a 8.8 that needs fabbed. Just wondering if the "mopar" feel is a good or bad thing?

well when you launch the back of the car picks up planting all the weight on the rear tires.

Its definately not a bad thing, you do not want your suspension to waste energy and this way utilizes all of the energy. The absolute LAST thing you want your suspension to do out back is to squat! This set up launches the car foward from the start....
After owning F-bodies for the last 20+ years it no longer feels like an f-body launching. corners feel the same though

Now all i have to do is get my axles and weld up the housing I just hope i did not slow my poor bolt on Lt1 down too much by installing 3.73s instead of going back with the 4.10s

I know it will be much different launching at 5k rather than 3k and praying the 10 bolt will stay together

When setting it up prior to welding, what angles did you have everything setup at? Ie. spring perch and pinion angle.

Looks good! Any chance you'd share your price list on the build? I am thinking about keeping the mustang brakes and using the 8.8 in its narrow state. I am looking into this as my locker is not holding at times. Still torn between t/a, your set up, or mini four linking it to the uni-body though.

btw,I like to see it in person. What track do you frequent?

To be honest you do not set the pinion angle until its under the car at that time you use the adjustments at the spherical rod ends to adjust pinion angle.

The spring saddles and associated brackets should be marked from axle to axle to get them into the same position.

The process is not difficult at all, measure as many times as you feel you need then make your cuts.

On my 10 bolt, the tops of both spring saddles were angled about 2.5* back from the top flat surface of the torque arm mount.

We put the 7.5 at 0 and measured where the flat part of the bump stops are, I think a zero the were at -5

This is more what I was looking for. I know you adjust pinion angle with the rear in the car. My question was more towards the spring perch angle in correlation with the pinion angle when sitting it up to be welded.

So basically set the pinion angle at 0* and the flat spots for the bump stops where around -5* when you welded the axle tubes to the 8.8 housing.?.?

you gotta measure that on your rear, they are all a little different, a magnetic angle finder is only like 5 bucks

I might be trying to over simplify this. Couldn't you set both rears up level, then make a mark at the top of each axle tube, then a mark an inch to either side of the top mark, cut and then use the marks as a guide. Ahh never mind, the marks on the 7.5 would have to be less than an inch to each side to line up... different circumferences and I am not going back to high school math to figure out how far to each side the marks would need to be....

Looks good. I can't wait to do an 8.8 build on mine. I've got a couple different 8.8 rears I'm looking at locally. One's a Fox body rear with 4.10's, and the guy only wants $100 for it. So, I figured what the hell. Just need to find a time to go get it. I already know a guy with a junk 10-bolt that I can steal the axle tubes off of anyways. So, I figure I should be able to do this pretty darn cheap.
