4.10's or 4.30's?
Well looking to put a moser 9" in my car soon and deciding on gears. Right now I have 4.10 gears in my 10 bolt. Mods are in sig and thinking of going with a 28" tall (slicks) tire on spray, and maybe 315/35/17 dr's (26" tall) for N/A. Which gear would you guys recommend?

depends on what rpm you shift at and what kinda power the car makes now. i went with 4.33 in mine an shifting at 6500 4th runs out at 116ish mph with a 26" tire and 122ishmph with a 27" tire.

yea, you gotta watch that. it would really suck to be bouncing off the rev limiter over the line...i bet 4.10's would be good. go to the drag racing section, id bet you would get a better responce.

I shift at 6600rpm's and the car can reach 121-122mph before hits rev limited in 4th gear.
Last time at the track with my old f13 cam I trapped 117mph and had a few hundred rpm's left. It's just with the nitrous I'm not sure what gear to get, it would suck though having to go into 5th at the end

You can find rpm/gear calculators if you google them. I'd say it depends on how much more horsepower you plan on adding to your car. Keep in mind power is additive... Bob
