Default MWC and monster 3 install w/pics

Just got done putting my Monster Level 3 and MWC fab 9 with 4.11 and spool.

And some clutch pics

And then this guy showed up. UTI to save the day!!!!!!!!!

All in all the rear was great. Every thing fits great. Only thing is gear whine is a little more than I would like to hear. Time will tell if it goes away. Long weekend worth of work. But good time with some friends to hang out and work on a car.

Yes those half circles are tow hooks. I think they will be a life saver on the trailer. I also went with Richmond gears. I hope they stop whinning as much as they do now. Time will tell after we get done breaking it in. The monster 3 feels great too.

Looks great...

Those are tow hooks on there and as far as gear noise, Richmond is louder but one of the best gears on the market.

Any more questions please let me know.

Thanks After seeing it is silver Im glad I waited. Yeah I will let you know if any thing else comes up. The noise is manly on the cost side of things. Have a little whine in 5 gear at around 45. Hopefully some of it will go away after break in. Idk if it will or not. At far as everything else goes. It fits great. The spool is going to take some time to get used to thought.
Thanks Again
Penning

I have the richmonds too, mine got considerably louder within the first 300 miles,i think once the black oxide coating on the gears wears off they get a good bit louder. But all my noise is on the drive side,so maybe you will have better luck.

do you recommend installing the clutch at the same time as the rear?

i was going to put in the rear, break it in, then put the clutch in...anyone else have anything on this????

i called monster and they said that it would be good to put them in at the same time. I was told take it easy and stop and go traffic for the first 500 miles wich it pretty much the exact same thing Eric said about the rear end.
