Yikes... was that stock aluminum driveshaft? I've got one for sale in classifieds but you're probably gonna want something stronger. That's why I'm selling mine.

yea its the stock Drive shaft. Sad thing is my car is pretty much stock. Im spraying a 150 shot, but i didn't spray that run. First time at a track and first run of the night. i was upset. Then it started to down pour and we didn't have a flash light. on top of that i had 220miles to drive back to nebraska

The PST Driveshaft is what I recommend. Bob

Sweet zombie Jesus! I hope it didn't take anything else out with it. I'd go with a PST or a Denny's Nitrous Ready. If you can break a stock part, there's no sense in replacing it with another stock part.

That LT1 driveshaft should hold up fine, although it weighs a little more. And vibrations at around 80mph are kind of annoying. Glad I could help you out btw

it is pretty common for the M6 cars to fail the stock driveshafts, with dot tires and sometimes even stock power. if you get wheel hop or any type of spin and instant hook up where it shocks the driveline it will usually hammer the rearend or driveshaft. if one stock one failed, another one will for sure. the steel 93-97 shafts will probably hold up a bit longer, but at some point you will probably want to look into a good shaft. we offer complete driveshafts from Strange and PST at the best prices. fell free to call, pm, or email us for a quote on the right shaft the first time.
