Default I have a few questions

Hey guys I have a moser 9in and it has a spool and 4:56s and 35 spline axles. It also has the new style ford big baring ends. I have guy here local that has a detroit locker and 31 spline axles. Will the axles work with the new ends? Also I am doin a m6 swap what would be a good choice of gear to go with I cant take the 4:56s that much longer. Also I have no rear brakes cause of the ends I dont want to spend 600 on a drag setup when the car is my dd. Does a company make a backing plate for the big ends that can adapt to stock brakes?

You can measure the bearing diameter on the 31-spline axles, they will measure 3.150" if they are going to fit Your housing end.
Hopefully another sponsor or a member will post here to help You with the brakes.

you will have to buy a set of aftermarket brakes to use the lbf ends. there is no one that I am aware of that manufactures f-body brakes/brackets that will work for what you have. you'd be better off to have the housing ends switched over to the 12 bolt style that will accept the stock brakes.

as far as the axles are concerned, you need to make sure they are the correct length. the Locker has a specific maximum length for the axles which is more important than the length with a spool being a spool has no center pin or preloading parts.

Also the 2000 ford explorer brakes will work correct? Then just have the rotors drill out for the bolt pattern?
