^^ I would give Eric At Midwest Chassis a call if you are interested in a Fab 9 Inch rearend. Hands down, he fabricates 1 of the best 9 inches out there on the market, and you won't find 1 for a cheaper price with all of the options. It'll come any way you want it built and will come with your choice of trq. arm and the crossmember can be setup for True Duals or a Catback style Exhaust.
Not to mention mine was 20 lbs lighter than my stock 10 bolt with all of my options. I had the larger 35 spline axles (stock length rearend/axles) and a "Heavy" Detroit Locker differential.

I'm right there with you. Ordered mine in January lol.
Got mine with
-Back brace
-Filler Assy
-Stock Length
-Wavetrac
-35 Spline Axles
-Aluminum Center Section
-Watt's Link
-Long Torque Arm
-Transmission Crossmember
-PST 3.5 Drive Shaft
-3.89 Gears
-LCA Relocation Brackets
-GM Backing Plates
-DSS Loop
Should be here around beginning-mid April.
Blew the 10 bolt out in September, on the street, on street tires, with a clutch that drove like a loose converter..... Go figure. Was about to replace valve springs and the clutch/master cyl heh. Ah well, those will come after the rear.

My new car is getting the 8 point (8.50 certified) cage installed, along with a window net, Crotch Strap Bar (for the 5 point harness), Transverse Rear Shock mounting brackets, and a MWC ARB.
I Can't Wait to get it all done.
I already have his Fab 9 Rearend (from my last car) going in.
I'm debating on doing a full tub setup on the car this winter and narrowing the rearend too.
*It won't be one of those old 69 chevelle style tubs that use a 4 link and coilover setup and only have 6 inches in the middle of the 2 rear tires tho. It'll still look stock from the back, but will have enough wheel well to clear a big tire. I'm really leaning towards doing this next winter since the car will be down again for new upgrades.
But Anyways,
**The options I got with my Fab 9 (stock Length) was an Aluminum Strange center section and the 1922 alum. pinion support, 35 Spline Strange Axles, Detroit Locker, Yukon 3.70 Gears, Back Brace, Black Powder Coating, LCA Relocation Brackets, Short Style Tq. Arm with True Duals Cross-member, Strange Rear Race Brakes kit, and a 3.5" PST Aluminum Driveshaft.
I can't stress enough how good his work is, and how good the quality of his parts are. You'll be VERY happy with the Fab 9. Trust Me.
Waiting for pics.
