a long as the gear ratios were the same then it should be a direct swap. all 3ch abs systems 93-02 used 106 tooth reluctor so no issues there. be sure to check the backlash and gear contact pattern... chances are the shims won't be exactly the same.

As in the other thread you started, you never told us the gear ratio currently in the car. Switching to 3.42 from some other ratio will require reprogamming to correct speedo.

Sorry thought all u need was tha other gear ratio.. mine is a 2.73 rear end.. I spoke 2 a friend n he said that all it could use if i did tha swap would be a tune 2 adjust the engine n other components 2 the new gear ratio.. is that wut u meant by reprogramming..?

Changing 2.73 to 3.42 is a 25% change. Speedo will indicate 75mph at an actual 60mph. Auto shift points will be off,not sure if this is correct but I think shift points are mph based not rpm based. Parameters in the computor have to be reconfigured.

I'm kinda in the same boat went from a 2.73 to a 4.10 ya the speedo is way off I think if i'm going 70 it says i'm going 110 and the speed limter shuts me off when i hit 75-80.

Don't know if you got this fixed but I found a hypertech programer used for $80 bucks and it fixed my problem.
