Default what do yall pay for a gear install??

i just called and they said it would be like 520 for the install and they get everything and put it in... and the gears are the GM's also ...

and i asked and they said if the gears break or the teeth just get worm down (like a lot of hard launches) they would replace them ....

just wondering if thats what it costs everywhere and if the gm's are the best?? thanks

That's not bad if they are GENUINE GM gears from the GM Dealer (aka not Superior, motive, etc)

All gear installations are not equal. It is more important to find someone who will install gears properly than to just find the lowest price. Accurate setup takes time and care. $500 including gears is a fair price for a good job.
