Broke mine on saturday, snapped the axle in half. making over 460 to the tires. H/C/I car stock bottom end. Running 27" hoosiers, lasted 5 passes, hit an 11.54 at 122.50 with a not so great 1.78 60 foot. I cut a 1.68 on the pass before but missed a gear so couldve easily a low 11 second pass. this was on a stock 10 bolt with 410s and trickflow cover in a 6 speed ss. This was my first trip to the track on my new build and slicks....so they may last long, or may not haah, cant really put a time on it.

My car is 3720lbs full weight with the stock 10 bolt,3.23 gears,4000 stall and puts 439 to the wheels. My best 60ft is a 1.53 .My buddies car is similar and he has run 1.46 60ft.Like mentioned already an automatic car is a lot easier on the rear end and it will last a while longer in automatic car. I still expect to break mine any time.

I've been 11.1 many times on my m6 10bolt car. But I have broke 2 axles. The trick to making the r&p live is to not use 4.10/4.11 gear. Back off to a 3.90 or 3.73 then break axles. Axles are cheap.

The jolt is what breaks them. They flex. a stock 6 speed car can break one easy.
autos however, go a lot longer. Unless you are hitting one with a transbrake, it prob wont break for a long time

I agree with Mike on the auto's.....but damn it...I just broke my 3rd axle with my m6. But atleast the r&p is staying together. Anyone got any good axles so I can get to the 10's???lol
