Default Dumb 9" rear question?

This is probably a stupid question, but when going to a 9" rear, would i have to change wheels to a Ford bolt pattern or are they the same as GM?

you will not have to change your wheels. The axl will come with the gm bolt pattern.

No question is dumb when it comes to making a large purchase like this! Chances are the rearend will be the second biggest investment in your performance mods and it needs to have a lot of attention with the choices.

We can get you set up with a complete rearend that is fully assembled and ready to bolt in your car, brakes and all. There are a lot of rearends and options out there, and MWC has them all. We can customize your package for your needs and budget and get you the right parts the first time and the guaranteed best prices.

MWC is a direct dealer for Strange, Moser, Motive Gear, and Yukon Gear and we have the most options on any rearend you choose. Give us a call and we can go over all the fine details for you and answer all your questions.

No matter who you buy from, you'd better specify the wheel bolt pattern and not just ASSume it will be a GM pattern...

All of mine are with the 4-3/4 bolt pattern unless a customer specifically request something different than the GM bolt pattern. Bob

That's good to know, Bob. AFAIK, there were no Ford 9" rears ever produced with the Chevy pattern, so one does have to be careful...
