I WISH that someone made an affordable, RELIABLE (torque arm mounting bracket welds), BOLT IN version of this axle (NOT Hawk's).

Then I could use the STRONG, high bias, 8.8 Torsen T2R diff, in a stronger than 10 bolt axle, without all of the un-needed weight of an S60/9.

What length axles did you use? I'm having TNT Fabrication build mine right now.

So did you build the rear yourself, and if so, did you opt to use the 8.8 center section and weld on the 10 bolt axle tubes? I know that's how Josh at TNT Performance does it.

Have you ran it yet? If so is it quiet? What kind of times did you run with it?

My car is not running as of now. I have about 6 more months before it is up and running.

What gears are in the 8.8 your sourced out, and are you going to leave them, or change them out? Also, after all is said and done, how much TOTAL will you have into the rear?

It's a very nice looking rear end but I'd strongly suggest anyone building their own rear end to spend the time to put better ends on it to eliminate the C-Clip axles and purchase a rear diff cover and a brace kit.

These are all things needed to help an 8.8 survive in any chassis but be careful what rear diff cover you purchase as it may have clearance issues like some to with S60 and 12-bolts.

I am working on installing my TNT 8.8 at the moment. I ordered axles from moser that will keep 4ch abs. They were for stock width and ford 31 spline diff shipped for $405.00

So after all the dust settles, how much money will you have in the 8.8 all together?

600 plus the cost of the 8.8, 10 bolt tubes, shipping and the axles.

still probably a good grand cheaper then an entry fab 9 with a spool
