Bolt in driveshaft loop advice
I'm looking to add SFCs and thought I would add a driveshaft loop since one of the points on the SFC welds to it.
If I buy one that allows me to install it without removing the driveshaft, is it a straight bolt in? One article I saw mentioned having to pull up the carpet and I'd like to avoid that if possible.
Thanks.
I have one and like it.

There are several of what companies call the part a connector, but in all reality is a "jacking rail". The outer portion of the LCA mount is nowhere near the rear subframe. The pinch weld of the rocker panel is nowhere near the direct line between the front and rear subframes, and is already one of the strongest points of the unibody to begin with.
I will also argue the point that a bolt-in SFC will do nothing for the car but add weight. Any time you have a bolt-in "stiffening device" there will be holes to wallow out, expansion/contraction, and movement between the surfaces. Its just a fact, no way around it. There will be flex in the clamping area well before the component can do it's intended job. There is no way a bolted in stiffening device will do the same job as the same component that is properly welded.
As for the driveshaft loop there are some on the market that allow the install to be done without the removal of the driveshaft. This can be a pain sometimes with the location of the bolts being so close to the shaft itself. There's gonna be like 8 bolts to do with the 2 piece type just to do the top half, only 2 straps to remove the driveshaft.
The MWC loop is a 1 piece style, but install is a breeze once the shaft is out. The MWC loop has much better ground clearance than any other loop, and fits all exhaust systems. The MWC SFCs are also a direct in-line connector that actually does the intended job... connect the real subframes in the car.
Give us a call, we will be glad to help you!
Ssvert - I was only curious about adding a driveshaft loop to utilize the third weld point on a set of SFCs I was looking at. I understand their purpose and that they're a separate product
