Default MWC 7.5 GM housing ends

http://midwestchassis.com/products/s...e-housing-ends

Does anyone have any experience with these? I plan to use them in an 8.8 Build using the stock tubes from my 7.5. Moser said they make 35 spline axles for the 8.8/7.5 combination no problem but I'm not sure what these larger outter bearings are equal too. Does it basically allow a "stock" 35 spline 8.8 axle from carrier to wheel bearing?

If you are running stock brakes you want the deep bore ends. If you have a 4ch rear end and plan to keep it you want the ones notched to accept the sensor.

This is the same housing end we use on our F-Body fabricated housings.

Housing ends will work up to 40spl and designed for the typical 3.150 bearing. I will suggest if this is a street car to use a tapered bearing not a sealed bearing.

What are the benefits of this design? Do you guys sell the bearings to fit it?

Housing ends are all relevant to what brakes you are using and if you are wanting to retain 4ch.

Here is the bearing.

Yeah u guys have an excellent website I've been on there alot shopping around, I'll get the bearing housing and bearings from u guys right away but won't mess with the internals until I drop the V8 in it. The axle I got came with a 3.73 and a posi so that's good enough for the V6. I do need to figure out what axles to run. I see you guys offer a bunch of custom axles on the website but I'm not sure which ones I need at this point. I called Moser and they seemed pretty sure they could make something that works

The deep bore housing ends will work for you if you are using the stock brakes, no need for the 4ch notched version.

Give us a call before you purchase anything from Moser direct. Chances are we can save you some money and headaches.

OK hopefully it will make more sense when I get my new axles as far as the sleeve goes. Also does the housing end need to be modified? It seems like the new bearing won't clear the old bearing housing, unless the old bearing housing is able to be removed?
