Default Need a new rear end...where do I start?

Looks like my stock 10 bolt rear end has seen it's last road trip.

Looking at 12 bolts or a 9". After reading up... sounds like the 9" is a better choice for my F-Body.

There are so many options out there, not sure where to start. My car has a few bolt on's nothing too crazy...under 400hp. M6. Mainly street use.

Looking for something that will bolt in and still maintain the traction control & ABS functions.

Good used or new...

Check the parts classifieds here on tech for used stuff. The 12 bolt isn't bad but I think the Strange S60 and basically any 9 inch are better options for a full weight m6 car. Lots of vendors here to help if you want to go with a new unit. Also available in any configuration you want with or without ABS, multiple diff, axle, and suspension mounting options.

Dutchman housing, + a 9" center from something convenient.. I'd assume they'd have the measurements for an F body?

Start with about '$4,000...lol. I would say my 9" was easier to install than my true duals. And I have installed several exhaust systems but was my first rear swap and I did it solo.

Your from peoria, MWC is your neighbor. Save a lot of cash on shipping right there.

You would be doing yourself a huge injustice by not coming by and talking to us neighbor.

Strange S60 for the win. I wouldn't consider anything less.
Here is the one that went in the 71 SS454, when the Camaro needs one I'll go with the S60

Give Midwest Chassis a call. Eric and the Midwest Chassis team are excellent at what they do, and most certainly can get you into a package that fits your goals and budget.

I can't say enough good things about Bob at Brute Speed and Carl at CRP. Lots of options between these two and awesome customer service. I've worked with everyone in the business and those two are hands down the best from beginning to end. Good Luck! PM me if you want to know who to avoid! Good Luck!
