I would save and put the money towards a 12bolt / 9 inch cause you get your choice of gears. Chances are that it will go eventually, so why invest money into something your going to replace

I assume you have a M6 since you are asking about 3.73 or 4.11 gears. I have had both gears and right now I am running the 4.11 gear in a moser 12 bolt. If you have to do alot of driving on the interstate then I would go with the 3.73 gear, but if you don't drive on the interstate much then go with the 4.11. I think 3.73 is the best all around gear.

If a gear is setup incorrectly or beat out of place slightly it will whine. No matter what ratio.

how about the SLP (Moser) 3.73's in a 12 bolt? i mena i see more people say moser gears are messed up on install or whaever...and fewer for strange? but its usually the 4.10/11's
