A Posi or Limited Slip and a Locker are Different types of Differentials. Even 9 Inches have been known to blow through Limited Slips with Hard launches and sticky tires. That is why it was recomended that you go a different route than a Limited slip. Trac Tech just Released there True Trac Diff that looks to be promising but there is limited testing on it as of yet. I Daily Drive my Locker, its the way to go in my opinion.

Back to the Original Question, the 9 Inch is the way to go if you want any type of assurance. They are also much more upgradeable in the future. Plus there are also low cost alternatives in the 1400 - 1500 range if you cant afford the all out 2300 dollar rears that would be stronger than stock and still allow you to upgrade later on. Also if you are worried about ABS being deleted, dont be. I dont have it and I cant even tell the difference.

Yep you hear a clicking noise which I actually kinda like. It gets a little jumpy when you do tight turns but it really is no big deal at all.
