which gear set is better

which gear set is better i have the crappy 2.73 gears in my 98 Z28 auto, and i am wanting to upgrade but not kill myself on fuel so i wanted to know which is better the 3.73 or the 3.23. also how much does it cost to get these installed?

IMO, It's a good compromise between 3.23's and 3.73's. You will still get decent mileage and you will see a good difference from 2.73's.
You can get those gears pretty cheap from any M6 owner who is swapping them.
Install should cost you around $150. Add another $75 or so if you change your bearing set (recommanded). Also, you will have to reprogram your PCM with the new ratio or your speedo will be off with the new gears.

i have a 3.23 in my car and i was going to go with a 3.73 but desided to go with a 4.10 cause i rode in my buddies z28 with a 4.10 and it was awesome if go.....go big if you have a 2.73 now you would notice a big diff in a 3.73 you will love it !!!
