Ok.. I HAVE to get rid of my fender gap. WHATS the BEST SOLUTION!?!
Ok i hate the 4X4 off road nasty fender gap on my Z28. SOOOOO.. im looking at getting rid of that AND while im at it I might as well work on the suspension/handling a little bit. What the best solution. I was thinking the G2 springs would nice.. i suppose i should do shocks at the same time.. or can I wait on those. Other than that... i want a BMR handling package i think. Bottom line.. get rid of my fender gap-- lower the car-- improve handling-- and not sacrifice traction with my ST3500 and nitto setup Any suggestions from you suspension buffs out there?
Thanks

I am satisfied with the Eibach prokit. It lowered just the right amount IMO and the ride really is that rough with my stock shocks, but I have a high tolerence for stuff like that. The car is also a lot flater in the turns at high speeds. And it has performed well at the track too. <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />
I just took some pics of my car if you are interested to see how it looks.

Fender flairs would be cheapest ...
It was brought to my attention and confirmed, that a '98 F-Body rides slightly lower the '99 and newer. I saw the proof this weekend ... interesting ...
I had Eibach Pros and would bottom the rear suspension on aoccasion and definitely on the track, running high speed turns on R compound tires. Bottoming out is a bad thing!
I've since changed to G2s because the rear springs are progressive.

You could always use QA1/Hal springs/shocks up front which make the front end adjustable. A few turns of the spanner wrench and lower she goes. Plus the adjustability of the shocks for the track 1/4 mile or twisties is a benefit too.

If you want to be cheap you can cut the coil springs, it will change the spring rate. Ask dnrfleet@aol.com he has done this.
