I put a PST Carbon fiber driveshaft in my 86 Camaro and I love it, I'll never run anything but a carbon fiber one from now on. It was around $800 with a MW Yoke.

My car really didn't have any bad vibrations to start with, but I could not believe how much smoother the car felt going down the track with the new drive shaft. The carbon fiber shaft acts like a harmonic balancer for the entire driveline. It's been in the car for about 4 years now and never had any problems. Also if you ever do break one it will just splinter, but not damage your floorboard.

My 86 has a best 60 ft of 1.33 on the motor 1.22 on spray.

I went with a PST 3 1/2 inch aluminum, its good up to 1200 horse. I love it and it weighs about what the stock one does.

It all comes down to how much your willing to spend. Me personally would go wiht the carbon. To me the bennifits are worth the price.

I have a PST 3.5" aluminum driveshaft on my Z28 as well. The PST driveshafts come with a true 1350 yoke and U Joint as well. I broke a competitors 3.5" aluminum driveshaft that used a 1330 yoke and U Joint last Fall on the starting line! Bob

Does PST offer a warranty like Dennys does? How do they compare?

That PST Chromoly is lookin good... I was set on a Dennys but may have to go with one of those PSTs. A warranty would be nice though.

If your car is a six speed I wouldn't use a steel driveshaft IMO we have found that the six speed car will have vibration problems. The carbon fiber driveshaft has no vibration problems and is going to dampen the drivetrain harmonics the most. If you have any questions regarding our driveshafts please just email me or give me a call i'll be more than happy to answer your questions

So Im gonna have vibrations with the PST Chromoly since I have a M6?

I dont really feel like bending over for the carbon fiber.... just seems a little pricey to me.

I had vibration problems with my stock aluminum driveshaft. I replaced it with a Denny's 3" steel driveshaft and the vibrations went away...and it only weighed 6 lbs more than the aluminum driveshaft. I was very pleased and still am. It's the only part of the car that isn't giving me hell.
