Default Chassis twist...?

Just an academic question at this point:

About how much (or how little, really) horsepower/torque can the F-body take? Presuming that the 10-bolt rear-end will no doubt blow before any serious twisting occurs, and even that's a matter of how much traction is being achieved, if those variables are taken care of (12-bolt rear, slicks, VHT-prepped track, etc.), then about how much power can the stock unibody take before showing some serious warpage...?

I got the BMR tubulars...it really helps...quiets the car down and makes it a real stiff and smooth ride...

There isn't a set point - it's all relative.

But that said, if you are going to bolt slicks on I would have subframes at a minimum, and probably a cage also (esp. in a M6 or if you are running 12.00's or faster in any setup).

I'd get SFCs, no matter what, in stock form.

I've got a dimple on my rear quarter from hard launches, and I run 13s on street tires!

While BMR SFCs sit in my living room

No, that looks more like what happens when you fail to prevent axle lift. Install a Wolfe swaybar and take that pictur again.

The best idea is not to find out where the danger zone is. Get some SFCs and put your worries to rest.

Excellent -- thanks for all the replies for a rather pointless question (the Colonel summed it up neatly, I think).

I've had a '97 T/A in the past, and I've seen this slick black-on-black '98/'99 Camaro SS sitting at a dealership in my area and have been idly daydreaming about it...
