this is a street, strip car with some daily driving. i run the 1/4, 1/8, and street race. i was thinking 4:30's but aint sure. anyone that has ran 4:10 or higher chime in and tell me what yall think. ive ran 4:10's and im going with atleast that, maybe higher!

what size slicks, how many rpm you wanna turn? what kinda 60' you gunning for? where do you normally street race from? what kind of mph/E.T you shooting for? All these are very important(especially in a m6) when determining the right gear...

prob. around a 27-26 inch slick, i street race any where from 0-120, im more interested in 60 foot and 8th. the faster the 60 foot and possibly 1/4 would be the best!

i'd go higher than 4.10's then. If you can hook it, and you go with a 4.30 ish gear and a 27" slick, you should be a helluva a setup

i was running 13.5 with no nitrous, 4:10's, and street tires but i dont remember the rpm when i crossed the line.

it's really mph dependant. i am running 120 in the 1/4, running a 26x10x15 Hoosier Drag, and i run a 9" w/ a 4.22 locker. I think with my setup, with a 26"tire, i am at 7krpm at 125 mph in 4th gear

what mph do you expect with the nitrous?

I'd say a 27" slic and a 4.30ish gear would be a good sweet spot for you then....not too much, and not too little

Are you spraying out of the hole? I'm planning to go with 4.11's and 28" tires, but im spraying a 150 straight out of the hole (assumming the drivetrain is up to par, of course).

since your a bolt on LT1 w a 150 shot i would go with 4.56's and a 28" slick.spray out of the hole launching on the rev limiter.
Go big or go home!
