ABS INOP and LOW TRAC light on permanently? Help!
Did a speed sensor go bad on me? This just started happening last week, I have no idea whats going on. I will try resetting the PCM, any other suggestions?

you might also want to pull the rear wheels and check the reluctor rings and maybe pull the magnetic sensor out the back side of the caliper backing plate and see if it is in good condition i.e. not broken off. I don't know why it would or how it could be, but it's a starting point.

"LG joonya" suggested I check the wires on the front a-arms and make sure they didnt get severed from being scraped on the ground. That would cause the ABS sensors to get fubarred for sure!

Nick,
Try a few of these things: do a systems check on the Tech II, and it might be able to pinpoint the corner for you, there is a little plastic snap clamp on the front lower A-Arm that sometimes comes loose. This causes the 2 wires going to the sensor (located on the back of the wheel bearing/hub) to rub the ground. If the wires are frayed or open at all, the PCM goes into limp mode and shuts all speed sensors off triping the dash lights. I dont think that you have broken any gears yet, so I'd just do a visual on the rear housing. There are not thtat many things that can go wrong here, so its a matter of just checking all the options.
