Default Recommend a Driveshaft to me!

Broke the stock one today at the track, ET streets, Mcleod Twin Disk, 12 bolt. 111 MPH passes, with headers and nitrous to come.
Thanks

just go to any axle shop and have then build you a 3" driveshaft out of .80 wall tubing and 1350 non greasable u joints.
dreiveshafts are pretty much all the same but this way you wil spend half as much.

We sell the PST 3.5" aluminum driveshafts that come with 1350 yokes and U joints, for $399.00. These are very stout and well made driveshafts that will handle a lot of abuse! Bob

I ordered a PST Chromoly and you can tell its really strong(and a little heavy) . They told me it was overkill for what I eventually plan on (600 rwhp max) I'm sick and tired of my driveline parts breaking, so I ordered it anyways. They told me if it ever breaks they will replace it.

Also, their customer service is excellent, they built and shipped mine fast too. Unfortunately it arrived with a small piece of welding slag or something inside that you could hear slide up and down as you picked up the DS. I sent it back and they happily fixed it and sent it back quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

OK, if I was going to go this route however I think I would probably go with a little more OD and a little more wall thickness. The LPE is 3.5", .125 wall T6, I might go up even a little more on the wall from that, maybe .1875 (3/16) for a little more strength. And definitely the 1350 joints.

the LPE 3.5" .125 wall is aluminum. it has to be that big and that thick cause its aluminum.
A 3" steel .080 w/1350's ds is plenty strong to take anything you can throw at it.

You can get the pinion yoke from several different suppliers, try Mark Williams or Strange.
