Confused about 1LE part numbers, 1LE sway bar owners please read
There are 2 different part numbers for the 1LE rear sway bar. Which is the correct one? 10164174 SHAFT-RR $45.66 OR 10021221 SHAFT $44.74. This is from GM Parts direct. They both can't be the same rear 1LE bar can they?
And I also got the front 1LE sway bar from them 26032907 SHAFT-FRT $67.04. Here is a pic. http://www.geocities.com/d_payton1/all_closer.jpg
Someone told me that the top bar is NOT 1LE cause the ends are different. Can someone verify that or show me a pic or a real 1LE bar if that top one is not 1LE. The bottom one is just the stock 30mm one.

So just to clarify here...
On the front sway bar, the ends of the bars are no different between 1LE and the standard stock bars correct?
We are curious because....
Those white endlinks are 1LE endlins, the red ones are prothane. The top bar is 1LE and the bottom is V6 Stock...
We were told that you are supposed to use 1LE endlinks on the 1LE bar and others will not work.. but the fit of the 1LE endlinks is very poor where as the prothane endlinks fit very snugly.

The 1LE bushings i think SLP actually
grinds (Reshapes).I've never really
looked but i do remember that off
SLP board. They are dense almost plastic.
Take a look at fit and see if that helps.

1LE Front Sway Bar#26032907
1LE Rear Sway Bar#10021221
I used Prothane Bushings and Endlinks with mine from Thunder Racing. To be honest I would only replace the front sway bar. The rear is not necessary IMO.

My rear is pretty tight right now. I'm still talking about the car sickos. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> The car handle tons better then before.
It's weird that some people got a different 1LE front bar then I did and we all used the same part number. Some have different ends for some reason. Most seem to have the same as mine. One guy has different ends though. And those ends are made for 1LE endlinks, not prothane.
2000superZ, where did you get the front Prothane endlinks from? I could only find them for the rear bar. I just need the endlinks for the front 32mm bar.

Thunder Racing has them
1LE Bushings #47-7-1137
Front SB Endlinks #47-19-409
Just go to Thunder and click on suspension. Prothane products are at the top. Use those part numbers above

Funny, I got my bushings and endlinks from Thunder Racing and didn't notice the front ones. It was over a year ago. Maybe they added them since. Thanks.
