Right now im running on some 295's kumhos in the rear and I have around 350rwhp...im not gona get much higher than this so thats why im not gona upgrade the whole rearend.

I really wouldn't spend anymore than $500-600 on the 10 bolt. Girdle/Stud kit, some axles, solid pinion spacer, and if your diff is hurting maybe pick up something like a T2R diff down the rode.

You want to read up and ask yourself some questions (with
realistic answers) about how you expect to drive / beat on
the car, whether you are going to change gears or converter
(if A4) or tires and so on.
A 2.73 car would probably never need axles. A 4.10 car with
a high STR converter and slicks would probably twist off any
10-bolt axle, even aftermarket, eventually if the rest of the
guts were up to it. There are plenty of things you could
upgrade but which, or whether, "depends".

The first thing you can do to help it is don't use a stiff clutch, and don't completely dump the clutch at the track.. use clutch slippage and tirespin to your advantage.. if you practice and get it down.. the stock 10 bolt will go along way before it breaks..
My best 60' is in my sig with drag radials and a bone stock 10 bolt. Now, finally after about 200 passes at the track the posi has finally started to give a little trouble (won't lock correctly anymore under heavy load).. so I bought a used Eaton posi for cheap off Ebay to try.

I did axles, a girdle, and a new posi unit and it went Boom my second time out on Nittos with 345RWHP and 356RWTQ On my second 10 bolt with a girdle and launching very soft and so far it has held but it gets louder everyday in the summer!!!

i feel the same way, my motor is stock, and will be for a few more years. my mods in sig. Looking to get all boltons, 3.73s and maybe 100wet shot next year . Im not going to do 5k and dump launches and Its not my daily driver. i figure whenever i do the 3.73s, ill beef it up while everything's out. itll never see slicks, maybe drag radials, but thats about it.

I was launching at 2500 to 3000rpm and Like I said on Nittos, and mine is no where near a daily driver maybe 2 times a week at most and only 6 mos out of the year.
