what can i do?
what can i do? hey guys ive got a 3800 series 2 with the 3.08 gears in the rear. im going to be doing an ls1 swap, do i need to get a whole new rear end? or can i just do a gear swap. i will eventually get a 9" rear but it doesnt fit the budget just yet. so what are my options here? thanks!
A 10 bolt is a 10 bolt whether it is underneath a V6 car or a V8 car. Being that it has 3.08 gears it is already a 3 series carrier. You might want to add a new set of gears to spice things up a bit, but otherwise you should be fine with a 10 bolt for a while.
