Default 500RWHP on a 10 bolt

I know this has ben shot to death but how long would you guys say the BONE stock 10 bolt will last with a 500RWHP turbo set up in an A4 with a 3800ish stall on street tires and maybe some DR's? I know its just a guess but I need some opinions! Im having a heated debate with someone that thinks a stock 10 bolt will last on a turboed LS1. So what do you guys think? Im saying no more than 5000 miles

Might last, might not. Like mentioned above, it all depends on the drivers habbits. Mine is still as quiet as the day I bought it. I did stick some axles and a cover in it this past fall.

He's running LOW 10s but also remember he's using 2.73s which are more forgiving on the rear than 3.73s or 4.10s and he's running an auto as well with nitrous, which I'm sure he doesn't spray all the time on the street.

So far mine has lasted for about 6 months at over 500 rwhp. I do know its a matter of time before it goes. And no slicks for me, just DRs.

A4 also still more nicer on the rear end than M6.

It seems to depend on the setup. If the rearend is set up right, it should last a little while. That's a lot of power on an A4, though. I think you'll lose some ring gear teeth or posi spider gears on your first or second launch at the track ... save for the 12-bolt.
