Most of the stock rears longetivity depends on whether your car is an automatic, or a stock. I have seen bone stock six speed cars take out the 10 bolt rear. One guy on here posted he broke his pulling out of the garage... I'd say you're going to break the weak 10 bolt rear, it is just a question of when. I've seen the stock 3" aluminum driveshafts break on 400 rwhp cars, and they usually do floor damage when they let go, not to mention that they will more than likely take the exhaust system with them when they let go. Broke mine today. Car is pretty much stock (lid, headers, exhaust, clutch) with 245/50R16 Nitto NT555R's. The posi took a dump, and I'm looking at doing a 12 bolt.

A drive shaft safety loop will keep ya from taking out your exhaust it you do break it....Or at least I would hope it would....
