I've had both in a 2000 WS6 with stock motor and a 175 shot of nitrous.

The PY3400E was super tight...like a stock converter. N/A times 12.50s, 1.79 60' times.
Nitrous times 11.0s at 122

The PY3600E was looser and had more shift extension and a harder launch N/A. Times 12.29, 1.69 60s.
Nitrous times 11.0s at 122.

The PY3600 was a better dual purpose N/A nitrous converter, but the 3400E would be better if running a 200 shot or bigger.

At a 150-175 shot, they were the same. Above 200 shot, the 3400 would be the better choice, for sure.

Absolutely no problems with either my PY3400E or my PY3600E.

I can tell you from experience that the PY3400E is unacceptably tight. Definitely go for the higher 3600, or even 3800 stall.

I can barely hit 1.60 60-foots with the PY3400E on motor. With a different converter, I could have high 1.3xs given my engine's torque <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
