Whirrring Noise I am the original owner of an automatic '99 T/A with 117,000 miles and factory 3.23's. Last october the pinion seal was replaced. Within the last month I have this pain in the *** whirrring noise in the rear end that is getting worse. At first this noise could only be heard at low speeds, but after a day trip to Austin on Sunday the rear end was really singing to me by the time I got back to San Antonio!! Any suggestions would really help, I want to be able to give the mechanic some possible scenarios. Thanks in advance!!

hey guys, i am in the process of buying a formula and the car has the same noise as you've mentioned. It only makes noise when decellerating from mid to high rpms and it makes a loud annoying whine from the rear
