what rear end should i go with a moser or a strange 60 for a high horsepower car! which one is better, the warranty is better on the moser but is the strange, the better choice!

For all out racing the S60 or 9 inch is the way to go. If you are worried about weight then the 9 inch can be built to be lite and strong.

I run a Ford 9 Inch in my 3rd gen so I'm partial to those. I run 9.20's at 153 in a 3300 lb car and I have been running that assembly for the last 3 years. I can build a really nice 9 inch for $2475.00 with a Strange Nodular case, billet support, 1350 yoke, 35 spline axles and a spool, add $175.00 for a 35 spline Detroit locker, Moser housing and axle package.

Scott, I've always wondered how much less durable the aluminum cases are. More specifically, how well would they hold up on the street with less than 400hp. going through an automatic? The car weighs less than 3000lbs.
Or do you think a modified 7.5" would be a better choice.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you were puting 1000-1500 through one. I have a few customers with aluminum cases on the street without any issues. Ditch the 10 bolt, over time it's just gonna wear out and break the diferential.

how much lighter is the aluminum case, and how much more $ it would be good for a 800-900 street car?
