We will need to know more about your setup. I run 3.73's with an Auto but I guess would be fine to run 4.10's with a 6 speed. You don't want to run into 4th gear befor your trap. What are your mods? Auto or Stick?

If your car's anything like mine don't run 4.10s with juice if your a bolt on car unless your gonna run taller tires. I trap 113 on motor, and I used to trap 120 on juice with the 3.42s, but now I'll run outta gear with the 4.10s and have to shift to 5th well before the end, so unless your planning on installing a cam and upgrading your valvetrain where you can rev on out, then don't go with the 4.10s.
With that said I love the way the car pulls with them compared to the 3.42s. For a bolt on car they're the perfect match. Top speed in 4th is 115@6200. I cross the traps with the shift lite on.
After the cam I'll rev it on out to 6800 in 4th and be able to run it up to 127 with stock size tires, so hopefully I won't run outta gear on the juice, might have to run a smaller shot and optimize that setup to it's best potential.

With only a lid, exhaust, and a dry hit of N2O my car ran 11.87@120.01 on a 1.95 short time with street tires. This was with the stock 3.42s.
Tell me what your car is currently doing on motor, any future mods, and how much your gonna be spraying and I can help you make a decision. I am thinking you might be able to go with some 3.90s and not run out of gear. Motive just came out with some for the 10 bolt and your top speed in 4th@6200 would be 121. This doesn't mean you could trap 121, cause your trap speed is your average mph over the last however many feet, so you will cross the finish at a little higher mph than what your timeslip will read.

youll need to run taller tires with 4.10s, even on motor i hit rev limiter through the traps, with 3.42s on motor i would trap 110-111 on spray 120+ with 4.11s 108 and 118 w/ a 100 shot and i either back out or hit 5th which sucks.....if i could do it again deff 3.73

with a 6400 redline, 6 speed, 275/45-17 (25.5-6):
3.42=143mph
3.73=131mph
4.10=119mph
roughly
IMO go with 3.73

thanks for all your help,i havent had my car to track yet but ill take it soon and get some info to decide, it looks like 3.73 would be the best all around gear. if i didnt plan on spraying i probably would go with 4.10

if you dont have money for a cam install yet, you could have new rods springs retainers etc installed and have the rev limiter raised but if youre going to get a big cam and you would need springs that can handle a lot of lift and those springs wouldnt work well with a stock cam..
