Default Tru-Trac How fast have you gone?

After breaking a few Moser 12 bolts I had Scott at Driveline Solutions build a 9" with a Tru-trac. Just wondering how fast people have gone and if it has survived. If you have broke please list what you broke and your set-up.

I have 550 rwhp, 3,500lbs, 6 Speed, Mcleod Twin Disk, 28" ET streets and cut 1.4-1.5 60's. Probably on a ragged edge of a Tru-Trac, but lets see who's broke and what the limits are.

Dan

1.7, NO breakage, and drove it home without even a single whine, or squeal, or anything. Good job, going with Scott. Top notch.

I've gone multiple 1.38 60fts with a Moser 12 bolt with the Tru-Trac pushing a 3500#+ car.

So far so good!

1.70 60' so far on a 26x10.50 et street. Should pick up with some more susupension work, and should pick up alot with a e/t drag. Will let you know how it goes. It also gets road raced and daily driven.

Strange 12bolt behind a 6xx rwhp M6 and has seen about 7-8 passes so far at the track. Launching at 4k-5k on 325/50/15 MT DR with 1.6-1.7 60' @ 3750 lbs.

Hoosier 28x13.5 QTP's will be on it next time out.

Bill's car is hitting 1.48's pretty consistantly so far....moser 12 4.10's and about 80 passes total at 3620lb full interior(25 with dumps about 6600k with the new clutch lately.) We toasted the first one...but it didn't look machined right...factory defect I'm assuming...that and the freakin moser's preload was way off...cookie cutter rears suck. We finally have the bugs worked out though

I've talked to the tech guys at Detroit and they have said that you can use up 1000hp with a true-trac unit and still have it live. Not sure though.

I'm sure it really depends on not so much how much rwhp you have but how much you have off the starting line and how severe the launch and shock to the rear is.

I'm sure as Intimid8 has shown they will live with 1000rwhp but its not like a turbo car with a M6 has anywhere near that much off the line.

I would say if anyone is going to break one it would be a 6spd car spraying a big shot off the line. I bet you would be hard pressed to break one with an auto and foot brake.

See times in sig! I don't lunch very hard nor does the car 60' hard but that 640 RWTQ seems like it would put a load on the rear end! Did I mention I was on the stock driveshaft...
