I'm not really sure what you're looking for here, but if you are asking specifically about 10 bolts from 93-02 f-body's, here are basic details about the posi diffs:

- All V8 cars had posi, very few V6 cars had posi
- 93-97 used smaller brake hardware than 98-02
- 93-99/00 used Auburn posi's 99/00-02 used Torsen posi's
- Base (Z28/Formula/TA) automatics had 2.73's with an option for 3.23's. Most automatic SS/WS6/Firehawks have 3.23's but it is possible some 2.73's were made.
- All manuals were 3.42's

Gear changes and full diff swaps are so very common that if you absolutely need to pop open the cover and inspect what is there, or at least do a rotation check.

Many people say "it's off a V8 A4...". That doesn't mean it's the stock axle.

Why on earth would he consider using a 7.5" 10 Bolt?

If that thing has the 8.5" 10 bolt in it already, why don't you put a Eaton posi carrier in it and call it good?

Yoru're in the wrong forum for that question. Hope this gets you in the right direction

I doubt that very much...

Does your nova have leaf springs or coils ?

I think the only cars these rear ends bolt right into are late model Fbodies.

I got a 98 rear end with 35k miles out of a z28 FS btw..

You're lost man. a '76 six cylinder nova might have a 7.5 in it. You WANT a nova V8 rear because it will be a 8.5.
The only 8.5's and some 12 bolts come from '67 to '69 camaros, and '67 and up nova's THESE ARE BOLT IN REARS.
70 to 81 f body rears are 2 or 3 inches wider but can be made to work.
In fact most any rear can be made to work if it's the right width and you can weld spring perches on it.
This is an '81 camaro rear in a '75 nova.

Here are some other pics.

yea its a leaf spring rear, and curretly has a 8.5 in it, but with no posi, i dont really have the cash to purchase a eaton posi carrier. I dont no how to weld either. So my only option is 67-69maro's and 67+ v8 novas? or can i just take out the posi carrier from another 8.5?
BTW what does it mean when you turn one wheel and the other wheel turns the oposite way?
