12 bolt or 9 inch
more gear choices, available with a locker which is way stronger than any posi, 35 spline axles, you can get it all <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
But with a 9" you get TWICE as many gear and differential choices. Unless your planning on going into the 9s or faster both can be built strong enough.
YES YOU CAN GET ABS WITH A 9". Just ask Moser.
They are priced vary similarly, within a hundred bucks I believe.

9"- supposedly stronger but you sicrifice an extra 100 lbs.(which is alot when it comes to racing)
12 bolt- lighter but you hear about them breaking, loosing torque arm bolts, whining, etc.
Its a tough call to me as I have been trying to decide for months. I dont think anyone can ever answer this question without some kind of sacrifice.
I just read about it on their site. You can't get 3 channel ABS with a spool but it is readily available for a 12 bolt with a posi.

<strong>You can't get abs on a 9" so if that's a factor you'll have to go 12 bolt.</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">hmmm funny i have abs TCS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
