Is it really necessary to add it, if it says it already has it?And aren't the Auburns the only ones that need it, which only came in SS's? Somebody please correct me if i'm wrong.

It's the other way around. Standard f-bodies came with Auburns and SS / Firehawks and perhaps some other optioned cars came with the Torsen.

Auburns definitely need it or the clutches slip. GM recommends it in the Torsen and it's cheap insurance at about $6 a bottle

IF he has an Auburn he definitely MUST add the friction modifier (preferrably the GM), and he SHOULD NOT USE synthetic gear oil, hence NO Mobil 1 (it IS OK IF he has a Torsen T-1)!!!!

I'm pretty sure you have it wrong. As per this sticky https://ls1tech.com/forums/new-ls1-owners-newbie-tech/213148-jrp-s-faq-commonly-asked-questions.html
Anybody else know for sure?
