Default Overall axle length

Anyone happen to know what the overall length of our beloved 10 bolt rear ends? I'm talking about the overall length of the housing. I might be attempting a lil project soon.....

I would measure it if I were home. I was wondering if anyone knew off hand.

From axle flange to axle flange, on the outside edge, 5 feet 4 inches, give or take a 1/4"

59-60 and 1/4 in, no way in hell from flange to flange 64"
