Default 600 rwhp, m6, 315/35/R17, What gears???

Ok so my cars getting a little bit of a tune up and I should be right around 600 rwhp while spraying. It has a stock m6 tranny and I'm planing on a 9inch rearend with a tru-track. I currently have MT 315/35/R17 tires, what gears can I go with at the track with out having to shift into 5th gear. I was hoping to get some 3.70's or larger if possible. Anyone running a similar setup?? thanks

Who's rear diff are you running? I'd go at least 4.10 but you might be in the right ballpark with the 3.70s cuz I havent had much experience with nitrous. If you were running N/A I'd say 4.56 or 4.88 depending on raceweight and final tire height.

I would say 3.73s on the bottle maybe 3.90s but any more and you will be hitting 5th gear in the 1/4 mile.

If they don't just get a taller tire. It's a lot easier to switch tires than gears.

x2 I no someone with a mustang running 26" tall DRs. he has 3.90s and 485rwhp. Hes trapping right at about 122 when he hits the rev limiter in 4th. if your gonna be pushin about 600hp you may need taller tires with 3.90s I think. 3.73 would definately work nicely I think, theyll be a little stronger too.
