Default Driveshaft Shoot Out......Pick The winner

Well drive shafts are a common replaced item on f-bodys. And it Can be a hard choice to pick the right one. Steel, aluminum, chromoly and carbon fiber are all options, but what one should one go with for a that goes to the track with slicks? A car that gets driven to go to the store or on a cruse? Money is a factor so the carbon fiber is out of the running.
Im sure there are shops that i did not list that have some, or shops that make their own but thses are the ones that your hear about and most people use

PST
Dennys
Strange
LPE
Speed inc
Spohn

The weight is a consern, if the 2 drive shafts are lets say equal the the lighter one will be bought.

Please post your thoughts

dennys has a lifetime warranty and will replace it for free if you manage to break and/or bend it.

BUT Only on they Heavy Duty Driveshafts though. They advertise these at about 300-400 dollars and are made of steel.
I personally would go with steel.

not on their alum ones.

I've been down that road with them after twisting my first one. Had to buy another "heavy duty" alum one. Its nice though, I wish i would bought it from the start instead of the "light duty" alum.

Dennys also make Aluminum driveshafts. If you want strong and light weight I would go with Denny's HD Aluminum Driveshafts.

The PST 3.5" alum driveshaft is rated at 1000 hp and comes with a lifetime warranty. The U Joints are even warrantied for 10 years! Bob
