torque management !

torque management ! have a 02ss..installed a yank 3000 2.0 tr, now i have that annoying bog on 1-2 upshift. is there a way to delete the t/m without spending $400+ bucks for a pcm reflash? any one in south florida (miami area)that can help? (not looking for a freebie)
Re: torque management ! Do not do what I did.
I searched around for 4 months trying to keep from doing tuning. I was miserable.
Save your self the pain and get it tuned as soon as you can afford it.

TMGXRAY, sounds like you have one!(diablo)what tuning have you done? spark-fuel-shift points?notice any SOTP difference? i am going to order one can't stand that friggin torque management.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Re: torque management ! I deleted mine with LS1Edit. It was simple. I highly recommend installing a shift kit along with the !TQM since your shifts will get sloppier and drawn out a bit with the extra power being applied.

The stock tune is a great improvement.I recently set mine at +25 firmness -25 shift time and increased the 1-2 2-3 shift mph by 1 mph.Now I can chirp the downshift and get a little sideways on the 2-3 on dry pavement when its a little cold it fishtails like an old bigblock Chevelle! These settings do not seem harsh or cluncky either.The trans now feels perfect!
If your tranny feels like it shifts soft and slow like mine did you need this thing! The Predator is not snakeoil it is probably the best mod I have done so far! Converter is next
