10 Bolt Question
. I already have Moser c-clip axles. My question is if I replace the ring and pinion or posi or both, inistall a good diff cover and address the suspention what is going to break on the 10 bolt? Is there some part that no matter what is the weak link? I know wheel hop is the enemy and a 10 bolt will never be a 12 bolt or 9" but with the wheel hop addressed what is the life expectancy of an after market built 10 bolt?P.S. Who will be the first to tell me not to waste money on a 10 bolt and to let the car sit untill I can buy a 12 bolt! I know this is probably what I should do, but I also know there are a few 11 second M6 10 bolts out there!
If I were you I would pick up a used 10 bolt as a short term fix ($200-$400) and start saving for a 12 bolt. If you can afford a 355 with all sorts of goodies and that purdy hood you got in your avatar, you can start saving for a better rear end (most prefer a 9" anyway in the case of an M6).
But what do I know, I've been there done that and raced more than a few M6's down the track. I prefer to 'set it and forget it' (i.e. save up the cash and upgrade to a rear) then piddle around with things that "might" work.

According to your specs and driving style you are going to continue to blow up ten bolts, just deal with it or save some dough for something bigger.
