Just curious.

Was wondering how long you m6 guys with 4.10's and dr's kept your 10 bolts alive. My cousin made 3 passes a few years ago and thats all he got out of his.

like 30 passes on 4:11's here on BFG Dr's
Just dont straight up dump the clutch, your gonna have to slip the clutch more to "lessen" the shock on the rear

I have about 20-25 passes on mine using Nitto DRs (275/40 17s), including one 12.6 pass. The secret is like has been said; slip/feather it off the line at a low RPM (1800-2500). Otherwise, you will spin anyway (if you have anything less sticky than a MT DR on there), OR you have a better chance of

your 10 bolt with sticky track/tires with higher revs.

I have seen the 10 bolts break on the first pass, so you really just never know. Become a member of Triple A so that you get free towing, it may come in handy as tow bills can get expensive. Bob

I had about 200 passes on mine.

BUT, I consider myself to be EXTREMELY lucky. M6 + DR's = asking for disaster, so just have a back up plan (some cash socked away!!)

I still have stock gears(3.42's) and Nitto 315 DR's. I made about five passes launching at 4,000 and havent had a problem YET. But i know im probably pushing my luck. Thats not slipping the clutch either.
